The Breville Barista Express is a stainless steel espresso machine that grinds, doses and extracts in one unit, taking you from whole beans to a fresh shot in under a minute. Its integrated conical burr grinder offers 16 grind settings and delivers grounds directly into the 54mm portafilter, while digital PID temperature control holds the water at the right temperature for even extraction and low-pressure pre-infusion draws out flavor at the start of the shot.

A manual steam wand lets you hand-texture silky microfoam for lattes and cappuccinos, and the machine supports single or double shots with adjustable grind amount and manual override. Materials & care

Wipe the stainless steel body with a soft, damp cloth. Clean the portafilter, filter baskets and milk jug after use. Use the included cleaning disc, tablets and brush tool for regular maintenance, and replace the water filter as needed.

Compatibility

Works with whole coffee beans of any roast. The 54mm portafilter accepts the included 1 and 2 cup single and dual wall filter baskets.

How to use

• Fill the 227 g bean hopper and the 1.98 L water tank.
• Select a grind size on the dial and grind directly into the 54mm portafilter using the grinding cradle.
• Use the Razor Dose Trimming Tool to level the dose, then tamp with the integrated tamper.
• Choose a single or double shot and start extraction; digital PID control maintains water temperature.
• For milk drinks, texture milk with the manual steam wand to create microfoam.
