Arc'teryx Beta SV Women's GORE-TEX PRO Shell Jacket

The Arc'teryx Beta SV Jacket is a women's hardshell built for severe mountain conditions, made with a 100d 3L GORE-TEX PRO ePE membrane that is waterproof, windproof and breathable. Pit zips let you dump heat on the ascent, while the helmet-compatible StormHood and two-way zipper add coverage when the weather turns.

It has a regular fit that accommodates layering, and the Beta SV is cut slightly longer than the Beta AR for extra protection. The jacket is produced in a Fair Trade Certified facility using bluesign approved materials.

The Beta SV Jacket has a regular fit designed to accommodate layering while maintaining freedom of movement. If you are between sizes, size up for a roomier fit or size down for a closer fit.

The helmet-compatible StormHood fits over most ski and snowboard helmets and is adjustable for use with or without a helmet.

In a size Medium, the center back length is 71.5 cm compared to 69.0 cm for the Beta AR, about 2.5 cm longer. Does the Beta SV have a ski pass pocket? No, the Beta SV does not have an upper-arm pocket for a scannable ski pass. It is designed for severe-weather alpine use rather than skiing. Will the hood fit over a ski helmet? Yes, the Beta SV features a helmet-compatible StormHood that fits over most ski and snowboard helmets and is adjustable with or without a helmet. Can the Beta SV be used for skiing? Yes, it can be used for skiing with proper layering, providing protection from wind, snow and wet conditions. It does not include a powder skirt or a dedicated ski pass pocket.
