The 3-layer construction uses a recycled plain weave nylon face with an FC0 DWR finish, and the jacket carries a 28,000 mm waterproof rating to handle heavy rain, wet snow, and strong summit winds.

It has no insulation of its own, so warmth comes from the layers worn underneath, and underarm pit zips let you vent excess heat when you are working hard. The jacket is Fair Trade Certified and manufactured in Vietnam.
